p.s.22 choir eye of the tiger rocky:

RT @Jason: A special message to all my entrepreneurial, and aspirational, friends...

eye of the tiger lyrics

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

Chorus:
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds 'til we take to the street
For we kill with the skill to survive

chorus

Risin' up, straight to the top
Have the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

chorus

The eye of the tiger (repeats out)...

Studies show Tea benefits HIV & Dementia

A powerful anti-oxidant found in black tea called Theaflavin is proving to show multiple benefits for HIV or Dementia patients..

though this is still early and scientists are discovering more as we speak it does paint a ray of hope

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theaflavin
HIV and dementia
Several tea polyphenols, especially those with galloyl moiety, can inhibit HIV-1 replication with multiple mechanisms of action. Theaflavin derivatives have been found to have more potent anti-HIV-1 activity than catechin derivatives in laboratory investigations.[2]
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a catechin in green tea, binds to gp120, which works in conjunction with gp41, itself blocked by TF-3 (a theaflavin), both receptors of which HIV hijacks to enter into healthy human immune cells. Therefore, former and latter compounds have considerable potential to block HIV entry, though in real life situations other factors may complicate matters. More studies need to be done. See List section below.
Like EGCG, Theaflavins and Thearubigins compounds found in black teas penetrate the blood brain barrier, and have been shown to be effective against dementia in aging as well as AIDS related dementia plaques in vitro.

Chris Brown, Wrigley, Youtube, Amazon & iTunes cash in from The Jill Peterson & Kevin Heinz wedding

Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz have taught countless of lessons to executives from Youtube, Def Jam, Amazon & iTunes. As they all recently
cashed in from their abundantly creative and memorable wedding! First off congratS!! The JK wedding did what the highest paid marketing
people could only dream of, create a natural nation wide sensation. I guess the marketing executives would never be able to truely tap into that
as true love is a key ingredient.

The video, set to Chris Brown's Song "Forever," accumulating more than 10 million views on YouTube in less than one week.

In a week: over a year after its release, Chris Brown's "Forever" has again rocketed up the charts, reaching as high as #4 on the iTunes singles chart and #3 on Amazon's best selling MP3 list.

At YouTube, we have sophisticated content management tools in place to help rights holders control their content on our site. The rights holders for "Forever" used these tools to claim and monetize the song, as well as to start running Click-to-Buy links over the video, giving viewers the opportunity to purchase the music track on Amazon and iTunes. As a result, the rights holders were able to capitalize on the massive wave of popularity generated by "JK Wedding Entrance Dance" — in the last week, searches for "Chris Brown Forever" on YouTube have skyrocketed, making it one of the most popular queries on the site:

Stephen Hawking's says We have entered a new phase of Evolution

Famed theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawkins has brought forth a new level of understanding in regards to human evolution. Beyond Darwin's theory of Evolution and natural selection. Hawking is the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. We are all aware of the of the information change around us. But are we aware that it's evolution taking place right before our eyes?

Stephen Hawking in Life in the Universe lecture.

"there are about 50,000 new books published in the English language each year, containing of the order of a hundred billion bits of information. Of course, the great majority of this information is garbage, and no use to any form of life. But, even so, the rate at which useful information can be added is millions, if not billions, higher than with DNA."

"At first, evolution proceeded by natural selection, from random mutations. This Darwinian phase, lasted about three and a half billion years, and produced us, beings who developed language, to exchange information."

"I think it is legitimate to take a broader view, and include externally transmitted information, as well as DNA, in the evolution of the human race,"

"an external transmission phase," where the internal record of information, handed down to succeeding generations in DNA, has not changed significantly. "But the external record, in books, and other long lasting forms of storage," Hawking says, "has grown enormously. Some people would use the term, evolution, only for the internally transmitted genetic material, and would object to it being applied to information handed down externally. But I think that is too narrow a view. We are more than just our genes."

Harvard: does Physical exercise sharpens the brain?

Apparently until this study there had been no hard evidence that being physically fit increases brain function. Other than the so so lame indications from trained rodents in the labs(I'm curious to know how they figured the rats got smarter, even better how they got the funding-I think the roaches in NY are smarter, any money for research?... So know this you can confidently rush out to the gym and give your self one more excuse to work out. Or one more excuse to be mad at yourself for not hitting the gym. This was published in the Journal of Gerontology. I am guesting that the readers are smarter than I am and know what 'Gerontology' means;)

"physically fit subjects had less age-related brain-tissue shrinkage than less active subjects. Using magnetic resonance imaging, the researchers saw clear differences in the frontal, temporal, and parietal regions of the brain"

Author Stephen Covey offers insights on finding a job in a tough economy

Acclaimed author Stephen Covey offers insights on how to get a Job in the tough economy

  • However, what if you took the time to really research the company you want to work for? Read and research about what’s going on right now in the company. Find someone you might know to talk to about what they’re dealing with and what they’re trying to accomplish. If you don’t know someone, make a call to find someone in the company who might be willing to spend a few minutes with you. Network with their suppliers or one of their clients to get a better understanding of the company, department or person you want to work for. Between the Internet and networking, you can piece together a picture of what would be of specific value to them. From there you can see if your experience, talent, skills, and passion match up to what they need. Now you can creatively position yourself as a solution and differentiate yourself. Get a conversation started in the company by presenting yourself as a solution to their problems not as a person looking for a job.

6 Sex Mistakes Women Make??

In a interesting article on webmd.com they explain 6 Sex Mistakes Women Make and reasons why women make them.
http://women.webmd.com/features/6-sex-mistakes-women-make

Les Parrot, professor of psychology at Seattle Pacific University and author of a new book called Crazy Good Sex, failing to initiate sex is one of the biggest mistakes women make.
“Most guys feel like they are always the initiator and that sets up disequilibrium on the passion scale in the relationship,” he says. Generally, men want to be pursued by their partners just as much as women do.

"Dr. Ruth," aka Ruth Westheimer, PhD, a psychosexual therapist, professor at New York University, and lecturer at Yale and Princeton universities. “They used to think that women are less interested in sexual activity and I don’t want to say that anymore. I think there are women who are as interested in sex [as men].” Dr Ruth is the author of

Bottom line:
Bringing in an SD slot and bringing back the FireWire port—while also lowering prices—eliminated Apple's weakest links in the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Add bigger, better battery life and you've got yourself a winner.

Pro's:
Very good processing parts for an entry-level machine. Unparalleled multi-touch gestures. Best-looking chassis in its class. Sturdy. Return of the FireWire port. Bigger, better battery life than its predecessor's. Lower prices. Backlit keyboard. Loaded with green cred. Now with an SD slot.

Con's:
Base memory is little low for this day and age.

What are your thoughts? What would you end up buying?

Hardcore Blackberry Fans get disappointed with RIM

will blackberry make a comeback? Are their days numbered?

Recently in response to a article written by Cell Phone guru The Boy Genius( http://ow.ly/gdbz), I wrote the following below... It's a well written article I recommend you read...

I’ve been a blackberry affectionado from day 1, with the 950… And this year have reached a downward slope…

The playing field has changed… you now have laptop’s disguised as ‘cell phones’ because of the miracles hardware can push in a small space…

RIM has may drop to the NCAA of smartphones… MiniOSX taking the lead followed by Android, Web OS etc.. Now with these micro laptops disguised as cell phones the competition is w/ the OS…

A bitter lesson apple learned in the 80’s when the Mac didn’t have applications and Window’s whipped them silly..

Great article ur right on many accounts… I haven’t quite fell off RIM but they’ll have 2 pull the magic they did when the pearl first came out

----

I mean the latest blackberry coming out has 256MB? When the iPhone is low end is starting at 16gig? and at half the price? Apple has sure given then a thrashing, but it's no different from the thrashing RIM gave it's competition when it released the Blackberry Pearl...

Blackberry has become a brand but will they last? What are your thoughts?

Steve Job's back to work at Apple

Apple's spokes person is quoted saying "Steve is back to work, He's currently at Apple a few days a week, and working from home the remaining days. We are very glad to have him back." This has recently been updated on the Reuters web site.

As a Apple product fan, it's great to see his return. After a week of bad news with the sad passing of Michael Jackson. It is exciting seeing Steve Job's who has also already contributed countless of contributions to the world continue to work.

The latest apple products have been blockbusters, the new MacBook Pro's have offered great price and performance. Nothing needs to be added with the great success of the iPhone.
