Macbook Aluminum vs Macbook White Review/Recommendation

Macbook Aluminum vs Macbook White

I've been recently looking into buying a Apple Macbook for the first time. It was a little puzzling at first as I've never bought or used one before. At first glance they all look alike, but after a closer look at the specs one can see that the macbooks are loaded with genius subliminal features...

When looking to buy the entry level Macbook you are faced with a choice between the new Aluminum model and the Macbook White. The big question is what makes the Aluminum version worth $300 more and is it worth it? An extra $300 can buy a Acer computer or tix for a good night/dinner anywhere.

To make that decision you ask, what does the Aluminum come with that the White Macbook doesn't and is it a $300 difference to you?

Major Differences the Aluminum model has other than it's unique aluminum cut are:

DDR3 Memory

Illuminated keyboard(in the $1,599 version)

LED-backlit display

Multi-Touch trackpad two-finger scrolling, pinch, rotate, three-finger swipe, four-finger swipe, tap, double-tap, and drag capabilities somewhat like the iphone. a quite revolution with laptops.

The bad is I find it sad that the $1299 Aluminum doesn't have the illuminated keyboard. A feature no one really cares about until it matters... then brings the question is it worth a additional $200 to get the $1599 version?

Fundamentally the White Macbook is a good choice for value and you can't go wrong(still keep the firewire. As the biggest change is in the NVDIA Chip that they all have now. If the choice were mine I'd go with the $1299 refurbished($1599 model) and find a happy medium there.
